NUST affords an array of sports and other recreational facilities to its students, faculty, and staff. Sports infrastructure includes athletic tracks; cricket, hockey, and football grounds; various indoor sports facilities; gymnasia, etc.

NUST has a 25 meter length swimming pool along with tuck shop and a pro shop. Membership is allowed to NUST Students, Faculty/Officers and their Families only. Guests and Alumni are not allowed.

NUST has an elaborate and well-organised transport system to meet the requirements of students, faculty and staff. Transport is also made available to facilitate students for industrial visits, research projects, club activities, society/community initiatives, awareness walks and excursion trips.
